Swansea is now widely recognised as the "regional shopping centre" for South West Wales, with a large selection of high street stores and a generous smattering of small independent, specialists stores, including toy shops. The regional county area is also called Swansea, or Abertawe in Welsh.
Swansea's market is the biggest indoor market in Wales, and the Quadrant Shopping Centre allows shoppers to enjoy the experience all year round under the glass roof.
