This unspoiled market town in Suffolk makes for a very pleasant shopping experience, with free parking, minimal congestion and a great selection of specialist, independent toy shops. Particularly notable is Curiosity Corner, a traditional toy retailer that specialises in Steiff teddy bears and collectable dolls. They also sell a selection of wooden toys and children's furniture.
Another of the town's well-known toy shops is Little Treasures. This company provides a free door-to-door delivery service to residents that live up to 5-miles outside the town. Perfect Miniatures in Friars Street is the local model shop selling kits, paints and glues from several different manufacturers. Retro-Time in the same road offers their customers a nostalgic look at toys from a different era, although modernised to take account of modern tastes and legislation.
