Burton upon Trent in Staffordshire is sometimes known as Burton-on-Trent or just Burton. The Octagon Centre dominates the shopping area, and is home to a good selection of multiple retailers. Smaller independent shops selling some toys, games and gifts can be found all around the town, even though Toymaster on the High Street is the last bastion of a truly specialist independent in the area.

Model makers can get all their kits, glues, paints and accessory supplies from GB Models in Woodland Road, whilst Toys of Yesteryear in Barton Marina have an excellent selectioned of old fashioned toys, models and items of a more traditional nature.
