Elaine at the The Gorge Bear Company welcomes all customers to one of the country's most wonderful collectable soft toy shops. Nestled in the beautiful Cheddar Gorge in Somerset, the Gorge Bear Company is open all year round for visitors to see thousands of teddy bears and friends from many major soft toy manufacturers.
Bears sold by this Cheddar Gorge toy shop include world famous manufacturers Steiff, Merrythought, Jellycat, Russ Berrie and Gund, as well as Hermann Teddy Original, Kaloo, TY, Charlie Bears and Isabelle Collection. The shop also stocks soft toys of famous characters such as Snoopy, Paddington Bear, Peppa Pig and of course, Rupert Bear. If customers cannot visit the shop, the comprehensive website shows a fantastic selection of Gorge Bear’s products, all of which can be purchased online.
Orders over a low minimum value are posted free of charge. Returning customers can collect PAWPRINTS of which 5 are collected for every £1 spent – once they’ve collected 500 PawPrints they will receive a £5 reward voucher. Every year special events are held at The Gorge Bear shop, whether it’s to celebrate a birthday party or for a guest appearance from Steiff or even Charlie Bears!

A lovely shop to visit. At the age of 53 years, I felt like a child in a sweet shop. The two staff my Mum & I met, Elaine & Jenny, were very helpful and a joy to talk to. The only shop where we got a friendly hug after a long visit & of course I made a couple of purchases, which was a must...
One being very special to add to a life long collection...
