As the oldest town in Northamptonshire, Towcester is also well known to the thousands of motor racing fans who drive through or near here to the neighbouring British Grand Prix at Silverstone each year. The town is blessed with plenty of independent retailers who thrive on the small local population and a steady stream of tourists who visit the many gift shops.
Online retailer Silly Jokes is a major UK retailer of fancy dress outfits and accessories. They’re based on the edge of Towcester, together with their sister company My Favourite Animals. Sadly Towcester does not have a dedicated toy or model shop, although customers can find a small selection of toys in a few of the town’s multiple retailers.
