Dress-A-Doll launched in September 2012 and is a family-run business based in Lutterworth, Leicestershire. The ragdolls have been created to bridge the gap between a soft toy, and a young lady's need to develop their fine motor skills. These include the enjoyment of playing with long hair normally found on a plastic doll.

Dress-A-Doll's ragdolls have full length handcrafted woollen hair that can be styled, and comes in a variety of colours and textures. To complement this, Dress-A-Doll offers a full range of clothing, seasonal outfits and accessories which are available on their website. They will also occasionally release limited edition ragdolls.

All the dolls sold by this retailer are handcrafted in the UK by a dedicated team of knitters, crocheters and seamstresses. As parents, Ruth and Andrew Lord wanted to create a doll that was practical as well as loveable. These dolls are fully machine washable and are tested to European Toy Safety Standards.
