Situated just eight miles from Glasgow, East Kilbride is one of the largest towns in Scotland and is particularly well-known for its six linked malls which are referred to by locals as the "town centre". East Kilbride has undergone a massive regeneration project that has improved the town centre shopping facilities and other services.
