Situated in the centre of Kent, Ashford plays an important part in the agriculture that forms the main industry in the county. The town has two major shopping centres of County Square and Park Mall and although the national toy chains are represented in one or other of the two areas, some independent Ashford toy shops can be found not far from the centre.
Specialist toy shops are always interesting places with their eclectic mix of toys, gifts and gadgets that often cannot be found elsewhere. Carousel Toys and Kidstuff are both located in County Square. Their selections of toys complement one another, and Ashford residents are lucky to have both of them. Prams, pushchairs and baby accessories can all be purchased at Baby Lady Warehouse on Eastmead Trading Estate, whilst Tiny Tots on Elwick Road also offers a good selection of junior clothing.
