Based in Newport on the Isle of Wight, Toys Models and Gifts is a traditional toy shop established in 1986 and caters for children of all ages. It has been under the personal supervision of Peter and Diane Boxall since 1990. Being an independent retailer they are able to stock whole ranges of particular items, not only the high profile television advertised lines. Pocket money and party bag toys start from very low prices, rising to over £200 for items like wooden boat kits or digital Scalextric sets.
Toys Models and Gifts stock all the main toy brands including Lego, Playmobil, Scalextric and Hornby Railways. In addition they sell a vast selection of accessories like extra carriages, cars, track and scenic materials. The hobby section also includes Airfix kits, glues, paints, brushes and almost everything for the model enthusiast. Young children are well catered for with baby, newborn and nursery items by Fisher Price, Tomy and Wow Toys, and they are also the main stockist for Sylvanian Families products, a popular toy for girls from 4 years to 40 years.
The Isle of Wight is a popular holiday destination so they stock a range of Island gifts and souveniers, as well as bucket and spades, inflatables and seaside toys. One reason for their success over such a long time has been their old fashioned customer service, as well as offering their customers a shop filled floor to ceiling with toys and models for every occasion and price range.

Fabulous shop, great service

We are always so quick to go to the bigger toy shops, but this shop is great. I have been shopping here for years - on and off - but in the past year or so I always purchase my kids toys here. You get a great service and the prices are great. Their Sylvanian Family range is the same as the other shops and on occasion a little cheaper. I'm all for supporting our local businesses when ever I can.
