Be prepared to step back in time. Rocking horse making has changed little since 1850 and at Tetbury Rocking Horse Works, traditional crafts are still used in the making of their rocking horses.
This family-run business uses over 25 years of experience to produce a range of bespoke rocking horses to suit all ages. A small team of artists and craftsmen work on the unique, hand-carved horses in carefully seasoned and selected solid wood. The horses are then painted to exacting standards and dressed in beautiful handmade leather tack crafted by a Master Saddler. Tetbury Rocking Horse Works even uses real horse hair for the mane and tail.
Each horse is tailored to your individual requirements whether you want an embroidered saddle blanket, a customised stand or simply to replicate your own horse's colouring. Should you have an old rocking horse in need of a little tender loving care, a full restoration service is also available. Be assured that your heirloom rocking horse will be sympathetically restored to his former glory.
