About

Toys Galore is an independent toy shop situated on Morningside Road in South Edinburgh.It has been operating since 1981 and stocks everything from quality wooden toys to the latest Lego set. There’s also another branch of Toys Galore in the Stockbridge area of the city.

They sell familiar brands such as Melissa and Doug, Playmobil, Galt and Fisher Price. If you are looking for something more special, they stock a lot of interesting and less well known craft brands such as the French company Djeco. The staff in the shop are all very helpful and know their products inside out.

They are always happy to assist if you are struggling to think of a gift to buy or if you simply want to know more about a particular toy. This toy shop has something that no other shop in Edinburgh has - an electric train that runs around the top of the shop. When visiting, feel free to ask if it's not already turned on.
