Situated on the northern edge of the Dartmoor National Park, Okehampton is a popular Devon town that has several bustling shopping streets. The arrival of Waitrose had a generally positive effect on the town and has been able to attract many new shoppers from Okehampton’s outlying villages and hamlets.
Famous kite manufacturer Brookite have their head office and warehouse in the town. This is linked with Skate Warehouse, an online business with a great choice of skates, skateboards and hundreds of different accessories.
