Originating in Norway, City of Friends was created by a real police officer called Carl Christian Hamre. Using his vast knowledge of experiences as a policeman, he created a series of bedtime stories that were converted by his company CreaCon into a successful series of animated preschool TV shows.
With a pan-European launch of City of Friends, the main characters of Max, Ted and Elphie have endeared themselves to a massive following of kids who can’t get enough of this show. Whilst toys featuring characters from the show have been slow to appear in shops, kids can kep themselves happy by watching episodes on DVDs.
